-ABOUT-
SMU SwimRunSprint is an annual aquathlon event organized by SMU Aquathlon, with SMU Sports Union and SMU Office of Student Life.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the event will be hosted virtually. Hence, this year's race is named SMU SwimRunSprint Virtual Edition 2021 (SRS VE 2021), where we aim to encourage a new norm of running/swimming - solo while staying connected via online platforms.
The current situation has affected many of us in terms of the way we live and connect with each other. SRS VE 2021 aims to unite the community while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
We aim to provide an avenue for participants to help those affected by the outbreak where funds are raised through registration fees and participation, promoting solidarity within the running and aquathlon community.
Proceeds after breakeven will be donated to our beneficiary, SHINE Children and Youth Services (Youth Community Outreach Patrol Programme). This programme aims to develop youth crime prevention leaders and reduce juvenile crime among youth through leadership development, early prevention, and intervention work.

You will then be redirected to a Google Form. Fill in the form with your details and upload the screenshot of your activity. Please ensure that the following details are included in your screenshot: (1) participant’s name, (2) date of run/swim and (3) run/swim distance. As SRSVE 2021 is a non-competitive race, distance recorded can be a cumulative effort rather than a single record being made. This means that multiple entries will be accepted and summed up at the end for each of the different individual categories. We hope this encourages you to adopt a consistent running and swimming lifestyle during the 4 weeks of the event and even after the event ends!
